Who is Integrated College Planning?  TOP
Integrated College Planning, or ICP, is a Wisconsin based consulting firm which specializes in helping parents of college bound students through the financial aid process.

  What does ICP do?  TOP
ICP educates families on the financial aid process. We help families implement income and asset planning strategies so that they can maximize their eligibility for financial aid and preserve capital for retirement. We show parents how to find colleges that have historically given out a high percentage of grant money (FREE Money) and a low percentage of loans so their child will not end up with a large loan balance at the end 4 years. We also help parents devise a long-term plan on how to pay for their EFC on a tax favored basis.

How much does the average client receive in grant money?  TOP
Our typical client receives an average of $55,000 in grant money over a four year period; however, we cannot guarantee that all of our clients will receive that amount. We can guarantee that we will do everything we can to educate you on how to qualify for more grant money.

When should I start my college search?  TOP
Your college search should begin early in your child’s junior year of high school. This will allow your student to look at several different schools and identify the colleges that have historically given out more grant money and less loans.

How can I maximize my eligibility for financial aid?  TOP
Start your income and asset planing early! The financial aid forms are going to use your tax information of your child’s junior year in high school.

Are there any charges for ICP's services?  TOP
During your personal complimentary consultation, we evaluate your situation and determine whether or not you would benefit from the services we provide. Fees are based on the level of service you want us to provide. It is important to note that there are some families we cannot help… we want you to know that we will be up front and let you know at the end of the complimentary consultation if you fall into this category.

Why should I pay someone to help me through this process?  TOP
There is a lot more to the financial aid process than just filling out the FAFSA and a few other forms. One missed deadline or one “simple mistake” on your FAFSA could cost you thousands of dollars in free grant money!

Do you offer any kind of guarantee?  TOP
We guarantee we will not mislead you or insult you with phony guarantees. Rather, we guarantee to complete all the required work on time and accurately. We guarantee to put our expertise to work for you, so you don't have to become a financial aid expert.
